Peer Learning is located in Baldwin 285 (Areas 1-6) and 288 (Areas 7-12), located right across the bridge from 2nd floor McClain.
At Truman State University we have about 1500 students a semester that are taking Classical and Modern languages and all who enroll in the first or second year of a language meet once a week for an with a Peer Teacher.
Therefore, we hire about 60 to 70 advanced language students every semester to help teach our elementary and intermediate classes. They meet with groups of 5-6 students and conduct speaking and listening activities, discuss cultural issues and lead grammar lessons in any of the 12 languages we teach here.
